ABOUT US
THE COLLEGE
Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. It was established in the year 1990. It is a multi-faculty Co-educational institution having at present over 2500 students on its roles. The college has strived to earn excellence in its academic endeavors by constantly incorporating innovative trends in teaching, keeping pace with the dynamic academic scenario. Currently located at Phase 1, Dwarka Sector-3, Dwarka, New Delhi, Delhi 110078.
The college provides opportunity to each student to explore his/her interests and test new ideas- the best way to reach ones full potential. This is attempted through an interaction between students of different disciplines in Dramatics, Debates, Music, Dance, Spic Macay, Photography Club, Finance Club, Eco Club, Model United Nations (MUN) Club, N.S.S., Sports and various subject societies. The career counseling and placement cell functions more as a career facilitation and Personality Development Centres. Our mission is to create an asset of confident, dedicated, honest and upright individuals.
THE PLACEMENT CELL
The Training & Career Cell, TCC, is the Placement Cell, wholly responsible for training of the students across all three years and the subsequent placement for final year students. Our endeavor is to continually increase- the number of companies and the average pay package, in terms of placements along with proper training of the students through providing internship and growth opportunities, supported with various training workshops. Over the past few years, our students have been placed at Zomato, JWT, S&P Capital IQ, McKinsey & Co., EY, Genpact, IDBI, Google, KPMG, Secure Now etc.
TCC has conducted many orientation and induction programs for the freshmen and has also been involved in helping the students in resume building and presentation. Besides organizing placement drives and cold calling, the placement cell has organized seminars in collaboration with LIC and IMS.
